Blair Brice Briggs
Of 716 East Third street, Bellwood, died at 1 o'clock this morning in the Presbyterian hospital, New York city, after a brief illness. He was born Dec 3, 1895, at Mount Union, a son of Brice B. and Elizabeth (Shields) Briggs, and on Dec. 6, 1919, in Bellwood, married Miss Margaret McGlinsey. Surviving are his wife, one son, Harlin, and a granddaughter, Judy, of St. Louis, Mo.; two brothers and two sisters, Mrs. W.H. Markley, Mrs. John Kurtz and Fred Briggs, all of Bellwood, and Sherman of Fostoria. Mr. Briggs was a Pittsburgh division engineer, a member of the Bellwood E.U.B. church, the Eagles in Bellwood, and the B. of L.F. & E. in Altoona. Friends will be received at the Fuoss mortuary, Bellwood, after 7 o'clock tomorrow evening.
