Edith Theriot Boudreaux, 96, a native of Pierre Part, LA and a resident of Napoleonville, LA passed away on Wednesday, October 05, 2016.

She is survived by her five sons, Oscar (Janet) Boudreaux Jr., Michael (Sherrie) Boudreaux, Daniel (Cindy) Boudreaux, Arthur J. (Jane) Boudreaux, Neal (Malissa) Boudreaux; two daughters, Lydia Boudreaux (Roland) Sanchez, Susan Boudreaux (Dana) Hooper; daughter-in-law, Gayle Boudreaux; sister, Eve Hebert; as well as 28 grandchildren, 37 great grandchildren, and 2 great-great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by husband, Oscar J. Boudreaux, Sr.; her parents, Alcee and Lucina Guillot Theriot; daughter, Karen Boudreaux; son, Wayne Boudreaux; grandson, Michael Boudreaux, Jr.; sisters, Amelie Mabile, Elizabeth Alleman, Eva Theriot, Ann Theriot, and Yvonne Hebert; brothers, Nicholas, Noe, Rudolph, Sydney, Paul, and Oleus Theriot; godmother, Eva Guillot and godson, Earnest Theriot.

She was an active parishioner of St. Anne Church, serving as Eucharistic Minister, as well as a member of the Ladies Altar Society and Third Order of Mary. She taught CCD and served as a Boy Scout Den Mother for many years. She loved to quilt, garden, and cook. She especially enjoyed spending time with family and friends and treated everyone as if they were her own. She always had a heart full of joy and a smile for all she met.

A visitation will be held in her honor on Monday, October 10, 2016 at St. Anne Church, Napoleonville, LA from 8:30 am until the funeral time at 11:00 am. The burial will follow in St. Anne Cemetery, Napoleonville, LA.
