Rachel Virginia Walker, 75, of Perry, FL, formerly of Putney, died Sunday, October 2, 2016 in Perry, FL.
Her funeral service will be at 12 PM on Saturday, October 8, 2016 at Kimbrell-Stern with interment to follow at Crown Hill Cemetery. The Rev. Greg Davis will officiate. The family will receive friends at Kimbrell-Stern prior to the funeral service on Saturday beginning at 11 AM until the funeral hour.
Mrs. Walker was born in Ben Hill County, GA. She was a member of the Baptist faith, and was a very devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She enjoyed fishing and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. Mrs. Walker retired from Proctor and Gamble with 30 years of service.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Henry Jackson Adkison and Myrtle Durley Adkison, and a grandson, Daniel Trenton Walker.
