Sister Rosa Bédard, whose religious name was Sister Lucie of the Immaculate, died at the infirmary of the Sisters of the Presentation of Mary in Saint-Hyacinthe, Québec, Canada, on November 16, 2012, at the age of 94. She had served in the religious life for 73 years; and in addition to her religious family, she left behind many nieces and nephews in the United States and Canada, as well as many friends.

Sister Bédard was waked on Monday, November 19, from 7 to 8:30pm and on Tuesday from 1 to 2:30pm, at the Mother House of the Sisters of the Presentation of Mary in Saint Hyacinthe (650 Rue Girouard Ouest). Her funeral was held on Tuesday at 2:30pm in the chapel of the Mother House, followed by interment in the community cemetery. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to the Mongeau Funeral Home in Saint Hyacinthe.

Outre sa famille religieuse, elle laisse dans le deuil plusieurs nièces et neveux au Canada et aux Etats-Unis et de nombreux amis(es).

Sœur Bédard sera exposée le lundi 19 novembre de 19 heures à 20h30 heures à la Maison-Mère des Sœurs de la Présentation de Marie de Saint-Hyacinthe, 650 rue Girouard Ouest, Saint-Hyacinthe. Les funérailles auront lieu le mardi 20 novembre à 14h30 en la chapelle de la Maison-Mère suivies de l'inhumation au cimetière de la communauté. Mardi, elle sera exposée à compter de 13 heures.

La direction des funérailles a été confiée à la Résidence funé- raire Mongeau, Réseau Dignité, 1115 Girouard Ouest, Saint-Hyacinthe.
