Mrs. Mary Tomecal, 82, passed away Wednesday, December 6, 2006 at Seasons Care Center, Kansas City, MO. The Funeral Mass will be 10:00 AM Monday, December 11 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church on Strawberry Hill in Kansas City, KS. Burial in Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
Mrs. Tomecal was born April 24, 1924 in Velika Paka, Croatia to Janko & Dora Mihelic. She came to the United States in 1968. She worked at Midland Brake Co. until her retirement in 1989. She had also been employed at Ace Electric. She was a member of St. John's church.
Mary was preceded in death by her parents, husband, John; two sisters; and one brother.
She is survived by: Daughter & Son-in-law: Millie & Joe Sambol - Blue Spgs., MO; Granddaughter & her husband: Deanne & Dr. Pascal Spehar - Blue Spgs, MO; Two (2) Great Grandchildren: Shelby & Alexander; One (1) Brother: Nikola Mihelic.
