Elizabeth Webster, wife of P. G. Webster, died at her home near Mt. Zion, December 3, 1896. She was born in Tennessee on November 20, 1821 and was 75 years and 13 days of age at death. She married P. G. Webster December 14, 1841. She leaves her aged companion and four sons, E. D., W. P., Geo. (Owen County) and Newton (Missouri); three daughters, Mrs. Sarah Daugherty of Pendleton County, Mrs. Estella Franks of Mt. Zion, and Mrs. Louisa Hensley of Owen County. All were present at her death, except Newton; The funeral and burial was at Mt. Zion Church on December 5, 1896.
