Mrs. John Hunt Dugger, Sr., died suddenly this morning at 4 o'clock at her home near Stiversville. Funeral arrangements have not been completed pending the arrival of relatives, but the services will be conducted at the Stiversville Church of Christ by Elder J.T. Harris, of Lawrenceburg, and Elder S. P. Lowery, of Nashville. Burial will be in New Ramey Cemetery. Mrs. Dugger was the daughter of the late W. R. and Frances Matthews McKissick, and was born, reared and educated in Maury County. She was a member of the Stiversville Home Demonstration Club and took part in other community activities. She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Amos Evans, of Lynnville, and Mrs. Edward Hardison of Mt. Pleasant; three sons, John Hunt Dugger, Jr., of Maury County, Marshall Dugger, of Tuscumbia, Ala., and Leon Dugger, of San Antonio, Texas; two brothers, J. C. McKissick, of Cordell, Okla., and Elder J. T. McKissick of Abilene, Texas; and six grandchildren, one grandson in the Navy, Allen W. Hardison, now in the Pacific. Williams Funeral Home is in charge. Pallbearers will be John C., Charles and Seth McKissick, F. T. and W. L. Seagraves, Evan and James Richardson and Hugh Douglas.
