James Robert Baggett married Mary Ann Biggs of Southwestern Kentucky, on 12/30/1841 .
They had 14 children ,and 2 that died young, one in infancy .
They are among many of the early settlers that help to settle the area of Montague County , Illinois Bend, and Red River Station .
We do not know the exact location of James Roberts grave .We have adopted this grave marker that's in an old cemetery with the permission of its owners , it is on private property of good friends to the Baggett family .
According to the History Book entitled " The Story of Montague County : Its Past and Present " source pp. 282. . Robert did serve some time as Sheriff of Montague County and died while in office .
