Mrs. Lottie Jane Haller Roberson, 82, 425 South Walnut, South Hutchinson, died at 4 a.m. Wednesday at her home. She had been ill 13 months. Born February 4, 1881, in Prescott, she had lived in Hutchinson 61 years. She was married to William D. Roberson June 9, 1901, in Linn County. Member: Bethany Nazarene Church.

Survivors: the widower of the home; daughters Mrs. Edna Tucker, 425 South Walnut, South Hutchinson; Mrs. Wilma Evans, RFD 3; Mrs. Violet Emery, 2604 Apple Lane; Mrs. Minnie Evans, RFD 4; Mrs. Irene Emery, RFD 4; sons, John Roberson, Buhler; Schuyler Roberson, 620 West A; Carl Roberson, Ray, Arizona; Ivan Roberson, 609 East 9th; Thomas Roberson, 613 East 6th; brother, Abe Haller, Oakland, California; 28 grandchildren, 38 great-grandchildren.

Lottie Roberson died on August 28, 1963 [the date of 1964 on the tombstone is an error]. Her funeral took place on August 30, 1963, at Johnson and Sons Memorial Chapel in Hutchinson, Kansas. Clergymen were Rev. Milton Huxman and Rev. Robert Dell. The songs sung were "Sometime We'll Understand," "In the Garden," and "The End of the Way." Music was by Mr Zeph Fisher, soloist, and Mrs. George Gustafson, organist. The pall bearers were Murriel Dee Evans, Wayne Roberson, Clyde Rowland, Gayle Tucker, Loren Tucker, and Virgil Tucker. -- From the funeral leaflet.
