BAUGHAN, Arnette Fischer, age 97, of Glen Allen, passed away August 18, 2013. She was born on Lombardy Street in Richmond, Va., on May 22, 1916. A daughter of the late Charles F. Fischer and Corrie Wilkinson Fischer; her husband, John Henry Baughan lived with her in their home on Connecticut Avenue, Biltmore, until his death in March 2007. She lived there from 1934 until this May when she moved to Autumn Care, where she died. She had five siblings, Lawrence and William Charles Fischer, Thelma Sinclair, Grace Seay and Ethel Isbell, all deceased. She is survived by son, John Edgar Baughan (June); and daughter, Lucille Rae Baughan; also grandchildren, Charlene Rae Baughan Romano (John) and John Alan Baughan (Kim); great-grandchildren, John Austin and Aaron Baughan and Lelia Rae and Kevin Romano. Mrs. Baughan was a happy homemaker who liked to sew, cook and garden. She was quiet and meek in nature. She was a member of the Hunton Baptist Church. Gathering of family and friends will be on Tuesday, August 20, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at Bliley's - Staples Mill, 8510 Staples Mill Rd., where a Celebration of Her Life will be held on Wednesday, August 21, at 10 a.m. Interment Forest Lawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Hunton Baptist Church, 11660 Greenwood Rd., Glen Allen, Va. 23059
