Miss Mary Freda Wathen, 75, of Louisville, passed away Tuesday at Westminster Terrace. She was a retired engineering assistant for South Central Bell for 16 years. She is survived by her brothers, Jim Wathen and his wife, Marlene, Bob Wathen and his wife, Delores and Leon Wathen; three nieces, Carla Legler, Dotty Hayse and Barbara Bloemer; three nephews, Guy, Mike and John Wathen; six great-nieces; eight great-nephews; and one great-great-niece. Her funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Bartholomew Catholic Church, 2042 Buechel Bank Rd., with interment in Calvary Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2-8 p.m. Friday at Ratterman & Sons, 3800 Bardstown Rd. Memorial gifts may go to the J. Graham Brown Cancer Center.
