Professional Football Player. He was an offensive lineman for both the National Football League's San Francisco 49ers and the Dallas Cowboys during a six year career (1962-1967). He starred collegiately at San Jose University before being drafted in the ninth round of the 1961 NFL draft by the 49ers. He played for the 49ers for three years before joining the Dallas Cowboys in 1965. He played for the Cowboys before retiring in 1967. He played in 84 games during his career and his last game was the famous "Ice Bowl" NFL Championship Game which pitted the Cowboys against Vince Lombardi's Green Bay Packers. After he retired, he coached football at Shasta College in Redding, California.
