Mrs. Angie Colean Laird, 90, of 930 S. 2nd St., died at 8:40 a.m. Monday at Parks Memorial Home in Auburn.

She was born near Pawnee, the daughter of Woodson and Abigail Colean.

A son, 2nd Lt. Florus W. Laird, was killed in action on D-Day, June 6, 1944.

Mrs. Laid was a member of the First Methodist Church, a 50-year member of Loto Chapter 366 OES, WSCS, Annis Club and Springfield Chapter of DAR.

Surviving are one son, Dr. Everett A. Laird of Montgomery, Ala.; three daughters, Miss H. Gladys and Miss Eva A. Laird and Mrs. Mary Louise Gross, all of Springfield; one sister, Mrs. J. Frank Leonard of Perry, Ga.; four grandsons; two great-grandsons; and one great-granddaughter.

Services were at Vancil Memorial Funeral Chapel.

Burial was in Roselawn Memorial Park.
