DEATH RECORD: Rutland, Worcester Co., MA
Luther Clark, died May 3, 1855, age 84 years, 1 month, 14 days. Place of Death Rutland, MA. Cause of Death Typhoid Fever. Male, Widowed, Farmer. Place of Birth Hubbardston, MA. Name of Parents John and Jerusha Clark.
NOTE: Luther's death record was also registered in the town of Leominster, MA. In that record it says he died in Hubbardston. Since there is no record of his death in Hubbardston, the Rutland death record must be the more accurate of the two. This makes sense since he was a resident of Rutland and his wife also died there a few years earlier.
