He was born in Wayne County July 12, 1895 to William and Mary (Tidball) Atteberry.
He married Lue Billingsley Dec. 21, 1919 in Mt. Erie. She preceded him in death Nov. 24, 1975. He was a retired farmer and a member of the EUB Methodist Church in Enterprise.
Survivors include a son, Charles, Cisne; a daughter, Mrs. Jess (Ruth) Williams, Mt. Erie; a brother, Walter Atteberry, Cisne; two sisters, Mrs. Ann Fishel, Fairfield, and Mrs. Mabel Mundhank, Albion; six grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a son, Elmo, a daughter, Evelyn, a brother, Ray, and two sisters, Edna and Nellie.
