Lynne was born June 4, 1927, in Rock Island, IL, to Roy R. and Alice M. (Moore) Seefeldt. She was a graduate of Davenport High School in Davenport, IA. Lynne married Duane Prentiss on August 14, 1948, in Erie, IL. He died July 29, 1991. She held many jobs in her lifetime, taking her most recent job at the age of 83. She worked in the Morrison Hospital, a doctor's office, a radio station, and was a real estate agent. Lynne was a member of First Presbyterian Church in Morrison and a member of the Morrison Hospital Auxiliary. Lynne enjoyed painting, playing cards, and home decorating. She was first runner up in the 1955 Mrs. Illinois Pageant.
Survivors include one daughter, Victoria (Clyde) Cardwell of Morrison, IL; two grandchildren, Ellen (Aaron) Tjaden and Allison (Alex) Riggen; two great-grandchildren, Olivia and Andrew Dohrmann.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Duane and one daughter, Candace Prentiss.
Funeral service was held Friday, August 12, 2016, at the Morrison Chapel of the Bosma-Renkes Funeral Home, with
Rev. Dr. Michael Selburg,Pastor of First Presbyterian Church, Morrison, IL officating.
Graveside service was held Friday, August 12, 2016, a the Reformed Mennonite Churchyard Cemetery in Sterling, IL
