Ruth E. Madden Eades, 97, of Monticello passed away at 8:48 a.m. Thursday (Aug. 4, 2016) at the Piatt County Nursing Home.
Ruth was born on March 9, 1919 in Monticello, the daughter of Ralph E. and Tillie Merle (Grady) Madden Sr. She married Virthel "Beck" Eades on March 27, 1937 in Urbana. He passed away on Nov. 12, 2005.
Ruth is survived by her son, Roy Roger Eades; daughters, Leah Massingill and Myrna McMannis; seven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren and sister, Norma Sievers.
She was also preceded in death by her parents, one brother and two sisters.
Ruth was a homemaker and a member of the Calvary Baptist Church.
