Clara (Weber) Arrington, 93, of St. Louisville, formerly of Utica, passed away on Saturday afternoon, April 2, 2016.

She was born on March 29, 1923 in Newark to the late George J. and Amelia (Weisent) Weber.

Clara enjoyed her family, gardening – both flowers and vegetables, sewing, quilting, embroidery and reading. She was a wonderful cook and enjoyed giving and taking care of others.

Clara is survived by her daughters, Vivian (Charles) Woodland of Sheffield Lake and Ellen Postle of St. Louisville; grandchildren, Wendy (John) Bailey, Laura Long, Jason (Rachel) Postle, Tiffany (Tyler) Newsom, Timothy (Erin) Postle and Amy (Zachariah) Hanzey; great-grandchildren, Valerie Bailey, Jessica Long, Alyssa Newsom, Nathan Newsom, Jonathan Postle, Jenna Postle, Madelyn Postle, Emma Postle, Zoey Meadows and Zander Hanzey, along with one great great-grandson, Brycen Long.

Preceded in death by her husband Olen “Dash” Arrington to whom she married on October 19, 1945, her siblings, Mary Jo Lee, George Weber and a son-in-law Bill Postle.

Friends may call on Wednesday, April 6th from 11:00 am until time of services at 12 noon at Lasater Funeral Home, 11337 Upper Gilchrist Rd., in Mount Vernon. Where Clara’s two grandsons Jason and Timothy Postle will be officiating. Burial will follow in Martinsburg Cemetery.
