Rita was born April 24, 1929, to the late Stanley & Clara Babicz. On August 16, 1947, Rita married Ervin Luczkowski, who preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by daughter-in-law, Mary Luczkowski; and brother, Raymond Babicz.
Rita is survived by her children, Peggy (Tom) Mossman, Tim, Danny, Jim (Sharon), and Jack Luczkowski; grandchildren, Robert (Jessi) Luczkowski, Jennifer (Iain) Siery, Crystal Luczkowski, Randall Mossman, and Amanda Luczkowski; and great-grandchildren, Matthew & Peyton Luczkowski, Ethan Feller and Owen Siery.
Rita was a member of the PNA. She enjoyed bowling, jigsaw puzzles, and time spent with family and friends at her lake trailer; fishing, playing poker and having drinks by the campfire. Rita enjoyed cooking meals for her family, especially her delicious pirogies as they gathered at her home for the holidays. She was a loving, generous person who always thought of others first. Rita loved her family and dogs very much and will be greatly missed.
ST. JOSEPH FUNERAL HOME, 824 S. Mayflower Rd., is assisting the family with a Private Service and Burial at St. Joseph Cemetery.
