Patricia "Pat" was stricken by a debilitating disease early.
About at the age of late twenty's. Frederich's Ataxia. It got worse as she aged. She was in a nursing home in the last twenty or thirty years of her life, unable to care for herself. On March 8, 1982 she married Kyle A. Dhabolt at Palestine, Anderson, Texas. They married in the nursing home where they lived.

Services for Patricia Walling Wright Dhabolt, 65, of Palestine will be at 1:30 p.m. Monday at Herrington/Land of Memory Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Strongs Memorial Cemetery in Slocum.
Mrs. Dhabolt died Dec 30, 2005 at Hospice of East Texas in Tyler.
She was a Baptist and a homemaker.
Mrs. Dhabolt was preceded in death by a sister, Sandra Kay Walling; and brother, John Pascal Walling.
She is survived by sons, Bryan, Timothy, and David Wright; granddaughter, Brandi Wright Jones; sister, Janie Walling Lowman; and brothers, Gerald, Allen, and Bennie Walling.
