SSgt. U.S. Air Force, {AF18540858}, Vietnam War-SSgt. Wanner was shot down in his C-123K Aircraft on 5-18-1969 while serving with the 310th Special OPS Squadron, 315th Special OPS Wing, 7th AF. SSgt Wanner started his tour of Vietnam on 1-15-1969.

SSgt. Wanner is the beloved son of Mrs. Anna Alexandro of 728 Cypress Street, Yeadon, Pennsylvania, and the husband of Mrs. Madeline Wanner of Rowrah Crescent, Manchester, England, and the father of two sons, Carl J. & Anthony Wanner with their mother.

Awards: Purple Heart Medal, Air Medal, Vietnam Service Medal with One Service Star, Vietnam Campaign Medal, National Defense Service Medal, Air Force Good Conduct Medal, 2nd award.
