Annie was born Feb. 11, 1930 in West Lebanon, the daughter of Hershel and Golda (Long) Groff. She married Courtney "Coonie" Blacketer Jr. July 30, 1947 in Sterling, Indiana. He preceded her in death Nov. 8, 2011.
Surviving re four children, Gary (Diane) Blacketer, Colleen (Mark) Wright, Brian (Annemarie) Blacketer and Gloria McGowen; eight grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
She is also preceded in death by three brothers, Lyle Groff, Lowell Groff and Charles Groff; a sister, Eileen Lape and three infant siblings.
Annie was a member of Trinity Presbyterian Church in West Lebanon. The two most important aspects of her life were church and family. She was very involved at church with the ladies activities and enjoyed helping with the church meals. She enjoyed cooking and canning throughout her life.
