Sabrina Lou Pepper Figert, age 57, of San Angelo, TX left her earthly body to join the Lord on Monday, July 11, 2016 at Shannon Medical Center West after a courageous battle with cancer.

She was the beloved wife of Dario L Figert and the beloved mother of Elizabeth Figert-Hightower.

Sabrina was born in Goshen, IN on September 18, 1958 to Merton David and Julia Ann( Templin) Pepper. She was a graduate of Eastwood High School, El Paso, TX and Lackawana Jr College, Scranton, PA.

Sabrina worked at the Health & Human Services Commission for 23 years where she had countless friends and coworkers before she retired in March, 2015. In her spare time she enjoyed crafts, reading, playing with her dogs Daisy and Suzi, and window shopping with her family and friends.

She is survived by her husband Dario, her daughter Elizabeth, son-in-law Laramie Hightower, grandchildren Olive and Orion Hightower, all of San Angelo; her mother Julia Ann Pepper of Mason, TX; sister Sonia Haub of Stillwater, OK; brother Brent Pepper of Mason, TX; brother Steve Pepper of Austin, TX, as well as, numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father Merton Pepper, and her brother Scott Pepper.

The family would like to give special thanks to Dr. Vicki Forlano, Dr Luis E Duarte, Dr. David A Cummings, and all the compassionate staff at Shannon Medical Center, Shannon Clinic, Senior Care of Meadow Creek, and Senior Care Center San Angelo, TX.

Funeral Services will be held Saturday, July 16 at 10:00 a.m. in the Gutierrez Funeral Chapels, 1002 N Oakes St, San Angelo, TX with Pastor Dr. James A Miller officiating.

Graveside Services will be held approximately 2:00p.m. Saturday, July 16 at New Gooch Cemetery in Mason, TX with Pastor Ryan Buck officiating.

Viewing for family and friends will be Friday, July 15 from 5-9 p.m. in the Gutierrez Funeral Chapels.

At the family's request, in lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be to the cancer society of your choice or the Lupus Foundation of America.
