Mrs. Elizabeth Ellen Pearce, wife of Dr. Pearce, of Blairsville, died Monday afternoon, aged 59 years. She was born and raised at Clarksburg, and in after years resided with her husband, in Rayne township, moving to Blairsville a few
years ago. Mrs. Pearce has been afficted with consumption for years. The funeral occurred Monday at 2. Interment of the
remains was made in Blairsville cemetery.

The wife of Dr. Pearce, of Blairsville, died yesterday after an illness of sixteen weeks, aged about 59 years. Though her
illness was long and painful she bore her affliction with christian fortitude and when, at last, the summons come, she was ready.
Her maiden name was Millen and she born near Clarksburg, this county. Her father was killed by a threshing machine when she was a child. She leaves a husband and seven grown children, 3 boys and 4 girls, to mourn her loss.
