Patrick was a painter who lived in Cochran, Indiana. He died in Cochran of heart disease, and was a widow at the time of his death.
The MARRIN name appearing here is an evolution of Patrick MORANís name which was the spelling on his 1852 Naturalization Application at New Orleans as well as his Civil War Registration and CW Pension Records. His name is spelled Moren on the adjacent small Union monument erected in 1902. Undoubtedly due to a Irish brogue, his name is spelled Morrow on his marriage record, Morine in the 1860 Census, Marine in the 1870 Census, Marrian in the 1880 Census, Marin on his death record and finally Marrin on his tombstone.
