SHREVEPORT, LA - Funeral services for Glen Wardlaw, who passed away after a brief illness Wednesday, November 8, 2006, will be held at 10:00 a.m., Monday, November 13, 2006 at Rose-Neath Funeral Home on Marshall Street. Officiating will be Rev. Regina Wren of First United Methodist Church, Shreveport, LA. A graveside service will be at 12:00 at Minden Cemetery, Minden, LA., where interment will follow.

Visitation will be from 3:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. Sunday, November 12, 2006 at Rose-Neath Funeral Home, Marshall Street.

Glen was born in Sibley, LA, January 25, 1929. After graduating from Minden High School he volunteered for duty in World War II and served in the U.S. Army Air Corps for three years. He was a graduate of Centenary College. After some years being in business for himself, he moved to Houston, TX and was Senior Electrician for Kroger Warehousing. He retired from Kroger and returned to Shreveport to be with his family.

He was a Methodist and active in the "Mingles" Singles Club where he had many friends. Glen was an avid sportsman, a member of the National Rifle Association and enjoyed the outdoors. Most of his hunting and fishing were done with his son and his brother.

Glen was preceded in death by his parents, Berry N. Wardlaw and Annie Mae Shadow Wardlaw.

He is survived by three sons, Steven Glen Wardlaw and wife, Mindy and their two precious little girls, the "apple of his eye", Caitlin and Meagan of Benton, LA, Jonathon Wardlaw and Thomas Wardlaw of Shreveport, LA; two daughters, Allison Clare Angier and husband, Gregg of Springfield, MO and Kimberly Sawyer and husband, Erik of Walker, LA; two stepdaughters, Candace Simmons of Woodlands, TX and Kelley Green and husband, Doug of Jacksonville, FL; sisters, Wilda Ritzheimer of Shreveport, LA and Charlotte Wardlaw of Dallas, TX; one brother, W.B. "Bill" Wardlaw and wife, Frances of Minden, LA; twenty grandchildren; five step-grandchildren; three nieces; one nephew; and one great nephew.

Memorials may be made to Centenary College in memory of Glen Wardlaw or to the charity of the donor's choice. Rose-Neath Funeral Home
