Brubaker - In the Otter Creek Church, Macoupin Co., Ill., Henry L. Brubaker, aged 33 years. He leaves a kind companion and four children with many friends to mourn his departure. He was a consistent member of the church, and by his Godly walk let a light so shine which proves he sought a home in Heaven. The subject of this notice came to his end as follows: he was working in a well when in lowering the box it came loose from the rope falling and striking him on the head, this was about 10 o'clock A.M., he lived until 5 o'clock P.M. How unexpected, how soon he was taken away. On the 6th his remains were conveyed to their last resting place, and the occasion improved by the brethren from John 11:28 latter part.
