WATER VALLEY, MISSISSIPPI: Henry Fly, 92, died December 24, 2000. He was a retired farmer, and was of the Baptist faith. Survivors include his wife, Opheilia Purdie Fly; four sons, William D. Fly of Senatobia, Henry D. Fly and Richard G. Fly, both of Water Valley, and Kenneth R. Fly of Duck Hill; a daughter, Virginia G. Wood of Duck Hill; a stepdaughter, Marjorie J. Green of Water Valley; a sister, Flora B. Holman of Grenada; 6 grandchildren; a step-grandchild; 7 great-grandchildren; and 3 step great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a son, Benton Gale Fly. Services were held at Goshen Methodist Church in Coffeeville. Burial was at Goshen Cemetery under the direction of Garner-Harper Funeral Home.
