Louise Conard Rash, 69 of South 5th Street, widow of Mack G. Rash, died Thursday, May 8, in Spartanburg Regional Hospital after a brief illness.
Native of Cherokee County, South Carolina, daughter of the late John T. and Virgie Black Conard. She was a member of Lockhart Free Will Baptist Church and retired from Lockhart Mills.
Surviving: daughters, Mrs. Evelyn Brooks, and Mrs. Carol Parks of Jonesville. Mrs. Mollie R. Porter of the home, Mrs. Vicki Rash of Union; son, Mack G. Rash Jr. of Jonesville; sisters Mrs. Irene Lee and Mrs. Jerusha C. Palmer of Lockhart, Mrs. Carolyn C. McKnight of Spartanburg, Mrs. Marie C. Stephenson of Chester; brothers, W.F. "Runt", John T. Jr., and Charles "Dick" Conard of Lockhart. Lloyd Conard of Union: 12 grandchildren.
Services 3 Saturday at the Brown-Bolton-Jolly Mortuary by the Reverend Ronnie Atkins and the Reverend Duncan Floyd; burial in Union Memorial Gardens.
Pallbearers: Everett Boling, Aubrey Horne, Willie Garner, Tommy and Gregg McCollum, Clifton Brannon, Dickie Shugart, Terry Bentley; the Jolly Sixties Club will be honorary escort.
Family will receive friends 7-9 tonight at the mortuary.
Memorials may be made to the Lockhart Free Will Baptist Church.
