Bill was the son of William Bunn Beavers Sr. and Mae Beavers. He was a World War II veteran and he flew 53 missions as a B-17 waist gunner. He was wounded over Romania and was taken a prisoner of war when his plane was shot down over Germany.
Bill is survived by his wife of 61 years, his daughter, his granddaughter, his great granddaughter, and his sister. He was preceded in death by his son, Randy Beavers.
