Bern Glancy, an old resident of this county residing near Ruskin, died Satuurday (sic) night at a York hospital, where he was taken for an operation for appendicitis. The funeral was held at Oak Tuesday afternoon. Mr. Glancy was a brother of Mrs. S.A. Wade of Nelson.

Bernard Prestons (sic) Glancey (sic) was born February 24, 1862, in Adams county (sic), Indiana, near Decatur and died at York, Nebraska, May 30th, 1925, at the age of sixty-three years three months and four days. He grew to amnhood (sic) near Decature (sic), Indiana, and in 1886 he came to Oak, Nebraska. He was married to Alphretta Metz November 7th, 1895. To this union three children were born: Fenton of Ovid, Colorado; and John and Hazel who reside at the parental home. Beside his wife and children, he leaves to mourn his loss one sister, Martha Wade of Nelson, and one brother John Clancey (sic) of Decature (sic), Indiana. - Davenport Journal.
