Nellie M (Cochran) Fravel, 99, formerly of Templeton, died Wednesday, November 1, 2006, at Kittanning Care Center, Kittanning Township. She was born February 20, 1907, in Boggs Township to Charles and Olive(Bahme) Cochran. Mrs. Fravel was a member of the Church of God in Templeton, the Ladies Missionary Society, and the Church of God Senior Life Group. She participated in many church activities and was a past Sunday school teacher. She enjoyed quilting. For all of her life she was a resident of Boggs and Pine Townships. Survivors include two daughters, Peggy Williams and husband James and Loretta Joy Walker and husband Thomas all of Templeton; eight grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; one great great grandson; and two step great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Boyd Fravel, who died June 23, 1969; one daughter, LaRue Fyock and a sister, Dorothy Bonnett. The family will receive friends from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m Saturday at the Bauer Funeral Home, Kittanning. Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. Sunday at the Church of God, Templeton with her pastor, the Rev. Richard Molgaard officiating. Burial will be in Cochran Cemetery.
