Rev. Horace Partin of Skaggs Branch Road, Williamsburg, Ky. went to be with the Lord on Tuesday evening July 23, 2013. He was 77 years 10 months, 9 days of age. He is survived by his devoted wife Evelyn of over 54 years. 3 Sons, Darrell Partin and wife Linda of Naples, Florida, Denver Partin and wife Rhonda of Williamsburg, Kentucky, Greg Partin and wife Angel of Corbin, Kentucky, 7 grandchildren, Zachary Partin and wife Fernanda of San Francisco, California, Lauren Partin of Naples, Florida, Justin Partin and wife Ashley of Corbin, Kentucky, Jared Partin Williamsburg, Kentucky, Matt Partin of Corbin, Kentucky, Logan Partin of Corbin, Kentucky, Taylor Partin of Corbin, Ky. 1 great Granddaughter Kaia Partin of San Francisco, California, 5 Sisters Fay Lindsay and husband D.C. of Williamsburg, Kentucky, Shirley Patterson Lewisburg, West Virginia, Ernestine Smith and husband Jim of Jacksonville, Florida, Janice Sweet of Corbin, Kentucky, Vickie Lunsford and husband Jim of Corbin, Kentucky, 3 Brothers Leon Partin and wife Carlee of Williamsburg, Kentucky, James Partin of Knoxville, Tennessee, Harold Dean Partin and wife Janice of Williamsburg, Kentucky, Brother in Law Marshall Partin of Williamsburg, Kentucky, many nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends to mourn his passing . He was preceded in death by his parents Smith and Nannie Partin, a sister Helen Partin, Sister in law Doris Partin, and Brother in Law Roy Patterson.

A Veteran serving in U. S. Army. He was a member of the Williamsburg Masonic Lodge 490 F & A.M., a retired teacher from Whitley County High School, and Former Pastor of Boston Baptist Church for over 9 years and pastor of Clearfork Baptist Church for 25 years.

Visitation after 5 P.M. Friday, July 26 at the Croley Funeral Home Chapel.

The Funeral Service will be at 2 P.M. Saturday July 27, 2013 at the Croley Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Arnold Petrey, Rev. George Peace and Rev. Woody Jackson officiating. He will be laid to rest in the Lot Mud Creek Cemetery following Military Graveside Honors conducted by the American Legion Post # 88 of Corbin, Kentucky.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Clearfork Baptist Church Building Fund 138 Wally Carroll Road Williamsburg, Kentucky.
