Middletown....Mary Maxine Bane Williams, 83, resident of Middletown, passed away June 3, 2016 at St. Vincent's Regional Hospital in Anderson.

She was born in Hagerstown, September 22, 1932, the daughter of Joseph and Stella McManes Bane.

She was a graduate of Economy High School and retired from the US Postal Service.

She was a member of the Library Reading Club, assisted with many events of the Middletown Lions Club and had been a girl scout leader.

She is survived by her husband of over 60 years: Eugene of Middletown, 4 children: Mike Williams, Vicki Bixler, Roger Williams and Candy (Bill) Ward, 11 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, 2 great great grandchildren, 1 sister: Jerri Peters and a brother: Glenn (Beverly) Bane, several nieces and nephews and sister-in-laws and brother-in-laws.

She was preceded in death by her parents, step mother: Vera Bane, mother and father in law: Charles and Goldie Williams, daughter in law: Donna Williams, and son in law: Steve Bixler.

A Celebration of her life will be held on Wednesday at 2:00 PM at Ballard and Sons Funeral Home, 118 South 5th, Middletown with Marty Ballard of the Yorktown Church of the Nazarene officiating.

Burial will follow in Miller Cemetery in Middletown.

Friends may call from 11:00 am until the time of the services on Wednesday.
