Frank M. Parsons, 80, passed away Oct. 28, 2006. Graveside service will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 31, at China Spring Cemetery with the Rev. Curtis Holland officiating. Visitation with family will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, Oct. 30, at Connally/Compton Funeral Directors, Waco.

Frank was born in Gatesville, Texas, to the late John and Frankie Parsons. He served his country in the U.S. Navy and fought in World War II. He worked for General Tire for 38 years as a truck tire builder and insulator and he loved spending time fishing and hunting. He will be greatly missed.

He was preceded in death by his first wife, Hilda Parsons; second wife, Pasty Yvonne Parsons; four brothers; and two sisters.

Survivors include his sons, Ed Parsons and wife, Sharon, Donald Parsons and wife, Margaret, Roger Parsons and wife, Skyi; six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and sister, Jo Pickines; and many other family members and friends.
