ANDREW LINDSAY

MIDDLETOWN, Ind., March 24 - Andrew Lindsay, past seventy years of age, living one mile south of town on the Fattic farm, died Tuesday night after a few weeks' illness of pneumonia. About a month ago, Mr. Lindsay injured his hand and blood poisoning developed. After this had improved, pneumonia was contracted which caused his death. Mr. Lindsay's wife died about three years ago, and since that time he has resided alone with some young grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Thursday at 1 o'clock at the home, with interment at the Mechanicsburg cemetery beside the grave of his wife.

MECHANICSBURG, Ind., March 25 - The funeral of Andy Lindsey was held at the residence Thursday at 1 o'clock. Mr. Lindsey was 72 years old. He leaves a daughter, Mrs. Thomas Muterspaugh, and a son, Alonzo, who is married and lives in Newcastle. Interment was made at Mechanicsburg. A. J. Bushong officiated.

(Andrew was the son of John and Catherine Fatic Lindsay. He married Minerva E. Shelton on 31 Aug. 1869 in Henry Co., IN. Andrew died in Fall Creek township.
