Birth Certificate.
Charles Gregory Evans, son of Charles Evans and Isabella Wright Evans, formerly Beamish, was born at the family home, Ardlui, Howth, Co. Dublin, on 27 December 1904.
His father was recorded as a Clerk at St. James's Gate Brewery, Dublin.

Charles Evans, together with his wife Ella née Beamish Evans and their son Charles Gregory Evans, were civilian passengers on board the R.M.S. "Leinster" which was sunk by torpedoes in the Irish Sea, 16 miles east of Dublin, shortly before 10am on the morning of 10th October 1918, on its outbound journey of 100km [68 miles] from Kingstown [now Dun Laoghaire], Dublin, to Holyhead, Anglesey, North Wales.

The Evans family lived at Osborne Terrace, Balmoral, Belfast.

Their bodies were not recovered.
Their names are recorded on the Beamish family grave in Deansgrange Cemetery.
