went home to the Lord on Friday, October 20, 2006. She was the beloved wife to Michael Kochie for 46 years, devoted mother to Steven Kochie, Lynda Flaherty, Diane Sison and Marianne Llanos. She was a cherished grandmother of 8 and great-grandmother of 2. Born on August 7, 1942, as Janath Sue Holland. She was later adopted and raised by Edna Peverly, her beloved mother until her death in 2001. Known by family and friends as Sue, Janath worked at Wilsona School District for 14 years, before working at Palmdale School District for 5 years. She will be deeply missed, for she brightened every life she touched. Visitation will be held from 4 to 7 p.m., with a Rosary at 7 p.m., Wednesday, October 25, 2006, Funeral Service will be held at 10 a.m., Thursday, October 26, 2006, both at Halley-Olsen-Murphy Memorial Chapel & Crematory, Palmdale, Calif. Private interment to take place at Good Shepherd Cemetery immediately following service.
