Eugene Elmer Watts, 68, of 1127 Hester, retired superintendent of manufacturing for International Harvester Co., died Tuesday, May 17, 1983, at St. Joseph Hospital in Atlanta. Burial in Forest Hill Midtown Cemetery in Memphis.

He was an elder at Whitehaven Presbyterian Church, a former member of the Whitehaven Lion's Club and past president of the Memphis Presbytery.

He leaves his wife, Mrs. Loretta Porter-Watts; two daughters, , Mrs. Nancy Alexander of Germantown and Mrs. Kathleen M. Mulcahy of Alexandria, VA; a son, Stephen E. Watts of Atlanta; a brother, W.T. Watts of Memphis, and two graandchildren.
