Olive Dorcus Kruse, age 99, Saturday, April 23, 2005, Regency Manor Care Center. Born in Tareuntum, PA, December 2, 1905, to Minnie Walters Lynch and Austin Lynch. Former owner of Kruse Grocery. Long time member of Thurman Avenue United Methodist Church. Member of the Daughters of the Nile Theabs Temple 87. Preceded in death by husband Harold Kruse and son John Harold Kruse. Survived by daughter-in-law, Carol Kruse; grandchildren, Judy Hardy (Thomas Maupin) and Richard "Rick" (Lynn) Kruse; great grandchildren, Kevin Hardy, Laura and David Kruse; brothers, Walter Lynch and Gayle Lynch; several nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends. Family will receive friends Monday 2-4 and 6-8 p.m., in the Long Funeral Home, 5528 Cleveland Avenue, where Funeral Services will be 10 a.m. Tuesday, April 26, 2005. Rev. Paul K. Fowler officiating.
