Singer, Entertainer. Born Walter Rocco Torrebruno Orgini in Torino di Sangro, Italy, he began his singing career at a young age. He was soon awarded a Golden Disc at the Festival de la Canción del Mediterráneo, and was a two-time winner at the Festival de San Remo. In the early 1960s he moved to Spain, where he become one of the most beloved children's television hosts and singers of his time. Torrebruno worked in countless TV programs among them "La Guagua", "El Recreo", "003 y Medio", "La Locomotora", and "Dabadabadá". His hit songs include "Tigres, Leones," "Rocky Carambola", and "Fortunato". As an actor he appeared in "Cuatro Bodas y Pico" (1963), "Coqueluche" (1970), "La Casa de los Martínez" (1971), "Rocky Carambola" (1981), "Orquesta Club Virginia" (1992), "Todos a la Cárcel" (1993) and "Los Peores Años de Nuestra Vida" (1994). He died in Madrid from a heart attack.
