Lucy J. Dinucci, of West Hartford, CT passed away peacefully on Friday, (March 9, 2012). Born in Hartford on July 30, 1923 to Frank and Concetta Lenge, Lucy graduated from Bulkeley High School. After high school she began working in the family business, Lenge Florist in Hartford, which was started by her father. Shortly after World War II she met and married Guido Dinucci. Guido predeceased Lucy, recently passing away January 19, 2012. Guido joined Lucy in the family business and worked together as partners for almost 65 years building it to the current Lane & Lenge Florist in West Hartford. Lucy was a mainstay in the Hartford and West Hartford stores and was known for her dedication to the business and the personal attention and care she provided to every order and bridal consultation.

Lucy was a devoted wife, mother, sister and grandmother. She will always be remembered as a person who loved people and life and had a kind and generous heart. Also known for her style and grace, Lucy made everyone in her company feel at ease. Her hobbies included maintaining an impeccable flower garden, gourmet cooking and elegant entertaining. She was an avid sports enthusiast who attended every child's sporting event and loved her 9-hole golfing friends at Farmington Country Club. In later years she took up tap dance at the Helen Flanagan School. She enjoyed many fun years and performed in annual recitals. Her selflessness was evident in her charitable activities where she volunteered as a charter member of Boy's Town of Italy, Hartford chapter, and the Saint Francis Hospital Women's Auxilliary.

She is survived by her three children and their spouses Frank and Phyllis Dinucci of Wilton, CT, Gavin and Lori Kahn of Wynnewood, PA, and Robert and Gretchen Dinucci of West Hartford and six grandchildren, Dr. Daron Kahn, Ashton Kahn, Frank Dinucci Jr., Ted Dinucci and wife Becky, Tyler Dinucci, John Dinucci her brother Nick Lenge and wife Connie, sisters-in-law Lillian Ambrose, Sue Dinucci and Rena Lenge.
