Lilly had a child out of wedlock that she named Paul Comer. We don't know what happened exactly, but she had to bind him out in 1897 when about 1 years old. The John E. Drennan family took him, and we think, adopted him.
Lilly eventually had two more children with her husband James M. Edwards, named Tom and Delores. Tom said during his life that he had a half brother, but we could never corroborate it. That is, until 2017 when I found the papers for the bounding out of Paul Comer.
