Obituary: Herbert Allison Manson age 82, died Monday, June 15, 2015 at his residence.
Born in Addison, New York, he was the son of the late Robert Harold and Jane Watters Manson. Mr. Manson was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War. He retired from Corning Inc. after 41 years of service of service as a Computer Security Specialist. He was a member of the 50's+ and a long time member of the American Legion in Elmira Heights, NY. Mr. Manson was a member of the Church of the Resurrection, was an avid golfer and enjoyed camping and sports statistics. He was preceded in death by two sisters, Norma Grace Neally and Catherine Jean Walton, both of NY.
Survivors include his wife, June Manson and a son, Stephen M. Manson. A memorial service will be held at 3:00pm Wednesday, June 17, 2015 at the Church of the Resurrection. Inurnment will follow in the church columbarium.
