Mrs. Sylvia E. Trostle, 1027 Trindle Road, widow of Lester W. Trostle, died last evening in the Carlisle Hospital. She was 58 years old.
Born on May 18, 1907, she was a daughter of the late Benjamin B. and Fannie F. Cornman Blosser. Prior to 1961 when she came to live in Carlisle, she had lived all of her life at Drytown. She was employed at Wilson's Drug Store.
Mrs. Trostle was a member of the LeTort Evangelical United Brethren Church.
She is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Richard P. Clay, Carlisle; Mrs. Rodney O. Gensler, Boiling Springs, and Mrs. Dale F. Jones, Jr., RD1, Boiling Springs; one son, Richard B., MR1; one sister, Mrs. Wilda Keller, RD1, and six grandchildren.
The funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday in the Hoffman Funeral Home, 219 North Hanover Street. The Rev. John R. Shafer will officiate. Burial will be in Kutz's Cemetery.
