David Lee Shockley, Sr., 72, of Paducah Kentucky passed away at 9:35 a.m. Monday, April 18, 2016 at his residence. He was born in San Francisco, California on November 25, 1943. David was an retired Supervisor from the Mayfield location of Wonder Hostess Bread Company and most recently worked for the Express Carriers. He was a member of the Bakers Teamsters local Union #366 where he had served as Union Steward for several years. David was a life-long fan of the University of Kentucky Basketball and the St. Louis Cardinals. He had a passion for classic cars and dirt track racing.

David is survived by his wife; Kay Moultrie Shockley of Paducah, Kentucky; daughters, Cynthia Cornwell of Paducah, Kentucky, Lisa Mohr and husband Doug of Paducah, Kentucky, Britana Finke and husband Brandon of Denver, Colorado; sons, David Lee Shockley, Jr. and wife Margaret of Paducah, Kentucky, Douglas Shockley of Texas, Eddie Cole of Paducah, Kentucky, James Shockley and wife Tina of Paducah, Kentucky; 13 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Don Shockley. His parents were Henry Shockley and Ruby West Shockley.

Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, April 21, 2016 at the Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah with Terrell Lee and Buford McGuire officiating. Burial will follow in the Woodlawn Memorial Gardens.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, April 20, 2016 at the Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah.
