Ida J. Kotlik of Amherst died July 23, 2010 at McAuley Residence Nursing Facility in Tonawanda, NY. Born in Perry, New York, daughter of the late Anthony (Josephine Maggio) Caito. Mrs. Kotlik was a long time member of St. Anthony’s Church along with its Altar and Rosary Society. She was very involved in the Catholic Church for many years. Preceded in death by her first husband James Amatrano (1983), son Ronald Amatrano (1983), brothers Charles, Frederick, Ignatius and Joseph Caito, sister Josephine Battaglia. She is survived by her husband Bernard Kotlik of Amherst; brother Angelo (Rose) Caito of Erie, Pennsylvania; two nephews Anthony (Jenny) Battaglia of Florida and Alfred Battaglia of Florida. Calling hours will be held on Sunday July 25, 2010 from 1 to 5 PM at the Funeral Home. Prayers will be recited 9:00 AM Monday July 26, 2010 at the Funeral Home followed by a Mass of Christian Burial 9:30 AM at Ascension Parish-St. Anthony’s Church 122 Liberty St. Batavia, NY 14020. Entombment in St. Joseph’s Mausoleum Batavia, New York. The family suggests memorials be made to St. Anthony’s Church 122 Liberty St. Batavia, NY 14020. Arrangements completed by Gilmartin Funeral Home & Cremation Company, Inc.
