Mattie Marie Norton-Tannehill-Reeves, passed away at her home in Springfield, with her family near her. She married Mr. Emery Tannehill. She was the mother of Barbara June, Reba M., Christene, and Randy A. After her husband passed, she remarried to Mr. George Reeves, January 31, 1983, and they were together for fourteen and a half years prior to his passing. Mattie was preceded in death by her parents, her husbands, her brothers and a sister, and her son Randy. She is survived by a sister, her daughters, her grandchildren, and great grandchildren, nieces and nephews, and her step-daughters, and step-son of Mr. Reeves. Mattie was a Christian lady and was a wonderful witness to her faith in God. Arrangements are under the direction of Klingner-Cope, at White Chapel Memorial Cemetery, Springfield. Interment will be in Lutie Cemetery, at Theodocia, Mo. Mattie's headstone reflects the date of February 1, 1919. which is the day she always celebrated it. She is loved and missed by many family and friends. She is laid to rest beside Mr. Reeves. May she rest in the arms of God forever.

Funeral 10:00 a.m. Saturday, April 16, 2016, at White Chapel, W. Hwy EE, Springfield, MO. Interment, Lutie Cemetery, Theodocia, MO.
