BONITA BlANCHE THOMPSON, 91, of Plano, Texas formerly of Duncan, died Tuesday, May 14, 2002 in Plano. Servics were held at 1 PM, Sat in Don Grantham Funeral Home Chapel in Duncan with burial in Duncan Memorial cemetery.

Mrs Thompson was born April 18, 1911 in Marlow to Bennett and Addie Mae Clark Atkins. She married Hollie L Thompson on Oct 4 1930 in Duncan. Following more than 70 years of marriage, he preceded her in death on July 26, 2001.

Mrs Thompson received her education in Marlow and attended high school in Duncan where she lived for 68 years.

She worked as a bookkeeper and teller for Security National Bank for 18 years, retiring April 15, 1976. After retiring, she stayed busy with ceramics and china painting hobbies and making and collecting dolls. Mrs Thompson was active in First Baptist Church and Home Extension group.

Survivors include a son, Hollie W Thompson of Plano; two daughters, Loretta Sue Thomas of Richardson, TX and P. Kay Crabtree of Garland, TX; six grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents and all 5 of her siblings.

Bearers will be Brent Thomas, Clay Thompson, Trent Thompson, Chuck Haley, Byran Bell and Randall Wagner.
