Her parents were Robert Farquhar and Mary Ennis Farquhar both of whom passed away in State Hospitals. Robert in Wyoming in 1899 and Mary in Rochester, Minnesota in 1899.

Robert Farquhar and Mary Ennis married in Ramsey, Minnesota on July 31st, 1961 based on various family data.

Some of Laura's siblings were Elizabeth, Harriett Matilda, Sarah "Sadie", and Mary "May" Farquhar.

Something disrupted the Farquhar family as Laura's father Robert was living with his brother James in Alexandria, Minnesota as late as 1880 and he gave himself as married but Mary had not been in the picture for sometime.

Laura's sister Elizabeth "Libby" married Arthur D Baker. She passed away in Minnesota in 1891. The couple had two sons.

In 1880 Laura's sister Harriett Matilda was a domestic servant as the age of 15 in Hudson, Minnesota. She later married John Morrow who was the brother of her sister Laura's husband Robert Morrow. Some of the children of Harriett Matilda and John were Clifford, Hazel, John, Clida Mary, Harriett, and Helen Morrow. In 1900 John Morrow and Harriett Matilda Farquhar Morrow lived in Marion, Missouri. Living with them and their children was sister Sarah "Sadie" Farquhar.

Some have given Laura's father Robert Farquhar's burial place as Wyoming. However, there is a Robert Farquhar buried in this cemetery (#37574584) who passed away in 1900 who could be her father or another close relative.

Laura was married to Richard Samuel Morrow.

Their children were Richard, Josie, Florence, Frances, Robert, Paul, and Jack.

Burial date August 24th, 1931.
